Patricia Poindexter
RC 1974 - 1977
PATRICIA POINDEXTER is one of the first families of Virginia.  Daughter of a former orchestra leader, she is a graduate of Boston Conservatory of Music and George Washington University, with additional studies done at Harvard University, the University of VA and NYU from which she received a Master of Fine Arts degree in 1990.
Patricia made her first stage appearance at the age of four and continued actively involved in theater throughout her pre-college years.  At 18 she was selected as Miss Virginia in the Miss Universe contest, then became one of a select group taken under wing at 20th Century-Fox.  All this prior to coming to NYC and moving into The Rehearsal Club.

Over the years, her performances have been varied, NET documentaries, jazz ensembles, outdoor theater and repertory theater companies, Vegas and international revue show companies included.  At one point she performed "Evita"; at another she performed for the Inauguration Ceremony for former President Nixon; and ultimately toured the world performing in every venue possible.

An avid horse owner and former polo player, Patricia currently performs a Civil War Tribute accompanied with, pictured below, Bill Krause on acoustic guitar appearing at festivals and remembrance events in VA and across the country.

Patricia also has housing available in NYC and VA -- best contact for reaching her is at 540.632.7483
